COMPLIMENTARY HOME VISIT
All bookings will start with a complimentary home visit - this means I can meet you and your pet(s) can meet me! I can learn about their needs, dietary requirements, any medical information and if required, I can collect a spare set of keys.
If you require a dog walking service, I will arrange a trial walk with you and your dog(s) so I can get to know them and see how they behave and react in different situations. I will need written permission if you would like your dog(s) to be walked off-lead, providing they have good recall ability.
I do all of the dog walking, pet sitting, feeding and animal care myself so you will have total peace of mind knowing exactly who is caring for your pet(s) - they will be loved and cared for as if they were my own!
As part of this visit and if you wish to book a service, you will be asked to complete and sign a registration form and I will provide you with insurance and DBS documentation.

DOG WALKING
We all know how much dogs love and need their walks but fitting them into your busy lifestyle is not always easy. So whether your dog needs a regular walk while you're at work, out for the day or just on an ad-hoc basis, Waggs and Whiskers offer a range of walking services to suit you and your dog(s), giving you a helping hand and taking care of all their needs.
All dogs are welcome, big or small but must be sociable and fully vaccinated. As mentioned above, I will arrange a complimentary home visit in advance so I can meet you and your dog(s), go on a trial walk and collect a spare set of keys, if required.
Walks are approximately an hour long but if you require a longer or shorter walk, please get in touch so we can discuss.
GROUP WALKS
Group walks are for socialised dogs that enjoy the company of other canine friends, providing great physical and mental exercise. Dogs will only be walked in small groups of no more than 4, so that each dog gets all the care and attention they need.
SOLO WALKS
Solo walks are ideal for elderly dogs, those recovering from illness or injury, a bitch in season or for dogs that are less socialised and nervous, or simply for those that prefer to walk on their own but still getting all the exercise they need.
Dogs from the same household can be walked in a small group or on their own.
What happens on the walk?
Depending on your location, your dog will be picked up and safely & securely transported away from traffic to woodland or park areas where they can explore, socialise, have fun and above all get plenty of fresh air and exercise!
The first few walks will be on-lead so I can get to know and form a bond with your dog, then with your written consent and providing your dog has good recall ability, your dog will be exercised off-lead.
After the walk, your dog will be towel dried if wet or muddy then returned home safely for a well-earned rest and a treat - if allowed! Poops will be scooped and plenty of fresh water will be available.
Not all dogs travel well, so if your dog would prefer a walk close to home and on their own familiar stomping ground, that’s no problem at all!

PET SITTING
CAT SITTING
Cats are very territorial and can become easily stressed in unfamiliar surroundings, so if you’re planning a holiday or just away for a short period of time, Waggs and Whiskers offer a flexible cat sitting service in the comfort of their own home and familiar surroundings - far nicer than being cooped up in a cattery cage!
Home visits can be tailored around times to suit you and your cat(s) to provide food and fresh water. Endless cuddles and fuss time will be offered, not forgetting play time - if your cat chooses! Feeding bowls will be washed after every feed and litter trays will be cleaned daily, if required.
I will arrange to collect a spare set of keys in advance, then all you need to do is leave enough food and cat litter (if required) for the duration of your holiday. You can then relax and enjoy your time away with total peace of mind knowing that your feline friend(s) are very happy and content.
The same price per visit applies regardless how many cats you have. An unmarked vehicle will be used to deter any unwanted attention to your home while you’re away.
DOG SITTING
If your dog(s) would prefer company and a ramble in their own garden instead of a walk, Waggs and Whiskers offer a dog sitting service at a time to suit you and your dog(s) to allow for toilet breaks, play time, water top ups and feeding if required.
PUPPY SITTING
For those occasions when you are not able to get home at regular times, or if your puppy is too young to be taken out for a walk, Waggs and Whiskers offer a puppy sitting service so they can have social contact and company. Home visits can be tailored around times to suit you offering your puppy playtime, toilet breaks, plenty of cuddles, fresh water and feeding if required. As they get older, short on-lead walks can be introduced so they can explore outside your home, preparing them for the great outdoors!
SMALL PET CARE
Not forgetting the smaller pets such as birds, rabbits or guinea pigs, visits can be made to your home while you’re away to feed, supply fresh water and clean litter trays and hutches.

I can also open and close curtains or blinds, turn lights on and off, water plants, collect the post or even feed the fish if required! I will send regular pet updates and photos by Whatsapp or email during or after visits to put your mind at ease.

OVERNIGHT PET CARE AT YOUR HOME
If you’re planning a short trip away and prefer not to put your pooch in a kennel, Waggs and Whiskers offer a sleep over service at your home. This service will be tailored to your requirements but will generally include an evening and morning walk, feeding, fresh water, lots of play time but above all, your dog will be happy and content in the comfort of their own home while you’re away.
Not only does this service provide excellent care for your pet, it also provides security in your home while you’re away giving you that added extra peace of mind!

PET TAXI
Waggs and Whiskers offer a pet taxi service ensuring that your pet(s) can travel to their destination safely and securely when you're not around or unable to take them yourself. This can include trips to the vet, grooming parlour, doggie day care and much more!
£14.00 per hour plus 50p per mile
